Alexz has been our Tea Co-Leader since 2021. She has her AA in Child Development and taught preschool for over 11 years. Alexz loves children and their unique and honest perspective on the world. She has worked with children and families in some capacity for most of her life and especially enjoys teaching music and art to children, as well as reading and telling stories. She has been singing her entire life and loves the joy and connection that music creates.  

 

Memorable Family Tradition?

One of my favorite family traditions is Thanksgiving. It has always been my mother’s favorite holiday and we spend the day cooking (and snacking) together while we watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade and then the original “Miracle on 34th Street” film. We always go around the table during dinner and everyone says what they are thankful for that year. It may be simple but it's one of the things I look forward to most.
